Food is one of the most important part of many people’s day. We understand that and take our selection, presentation and quality very seriously. Our Chef’s philosophy is that if you use good quality ingredients, you don’t need all the other fluff. Proof is in the smiles on our residents faces and the compliment our cooks receive when they come out to visit. It’s much like having your favourite restaurant as close as your own dining room.
Orchard View by the Mississippi meets specific needs of our residents by offering specialized meals for those with dietary restrictions; diabetic, heart healthy, gluten free, renal, allergy specific in our 3 dining rooms.
Portion size is a question asked often, as no one likes to waste. We offer quarter, half or regular size servings for the variety of appetite we have. When you see the sample plate showcased at the entrance to the dining room, you may change your mind on the size you would like. If the selection of the day is not to your preference you may request an option from our A La Carte menu. During your visit to our home, ask for more information about our menus.
On a fragrant summer’s night, you could choose to dine on our lovely outdoor space. Choose from our daily menu of culinary creations or a traditional favourite.
You can also choose to reserve the Private Dining Room for special events with your family and friends.
